Request For: College Basketball
Request Title: Fatigue
Description In college ball, players are always 100% rested. This does not reflect the reality of post-season basketball. Fatigue should accumulate in conference games. It should also be a lesser factor in rounds 2, 4, and 6 of the national tournament.
So, for example, Wake Forest should have had an advantage in today's second round game over DePaul, since DePaul had just played a 2OT game in round one with three starters playing 50 minutes.

Admin Notes While I understand this in principle, I haven't really heard discussion of fatigue from the number of games in real-life, where teams generally play twice per week all season. The only place I could really see this matter is conference tournaments where teams play multiple consecutive games - but I don't believe this was the case driving this request.
