Request For: Pro and College Basketball
Request Title: Inbounding
Description Right now when the ball needs to be inbounded, it appears that the inbound is always the SG to the PG. This isn't always the most obvious combination - especially if the SG is not a good passer and the opposition is playing full court press.
Let's imagine:
J.Butterfingers SG 1 x x 1 x x x x x x'x"
J.Sureandsteady SF 8 x x 9 x x x x x x'x"
I would much rather have the SF inbounding the ball than the SG. This should only really matter if you're facing a full court press ... but it seems like the principle is the same.
I would like one of the players who is inbounding to be a designated handler, if one is available. If there is no handler defined, then default to SG. Since this is a guaranteed pass, and that is exactly what the handler setting is for, this seems pretty natural.

Status: Completed (last updated Dec 26 18:57:46 2019

Priority: Short Term
Admin Notes The player inbounding the ball is now preferentially a designated "handler" instead of defaulting to a guard.
